And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Rating : 3 / 10

I would like to know who wrote those views on the back cover of this book. I am sure if I ever find that, I’ll trace him to the end of the world and will surely kill him! This book was my first book by Agatha Christie and I don’t think I’d like to read any more.
The story is extremely similar to any ghost story and was extremely predictable at times. The end was just as expected, i.e. the killer would be someone whom you would never expect. This particular feature is the one that I hate the most about murder mysteries. It is the author who tells us the plot and what is going on in the story. If he/she intentionally hides certain facts from us (or just mentions them superficially), then how are we supposed to know and hence guess who actually the killer is!?
I would certainly recommend anyone going for this book, not to read it unless you have nothing else to do.
